At Reubicon Tractor Parts, our Mahindra parts catalog includes a huge selection of affordable parts for just about any model of Mahindra tractor parts. Here are a few tips to help you use our catalog.

To get started using our Mahindra parts catalog, just head to the homepage and click on the Mahindra Tractor Parts tab. At this point, you can select a subcategory – Mahindra tractor parts by model or Mahindra tractor parts by name.

Typically, it’s easiest to simply look through our Mahindra parts catalog using your specific model number. We have 27 different categories that include most Mahindra series tractors, including everything from the 00 Series to the 7000 Series and MPower models.

Once you click on your series number, you can select the specific model within that series and that will take you to subcategories for specific parts. Our subcategories include linkage parts, body parts & seats, brake parts, clutch parts, electrical parts, transmission parts and much more. If you don’t see exactly the part you need, feel free to contact us at any time, and we can try to source the part you need.

Keep Your Mahindra Tractor Going Strong

While our Mahindra parts catalog is filled with just about every part or filter you might need, we also have some tips to help you keep your Mahindra tractor running and running well for many years to come. A tractor is a huge investment, and a bit of light maintenance can go a long way toward preserving the life of your tractor. We recommend thinking about the following tasks before you climb aboard and start up your tractor.

1. Check The Oil Level

While it’s important to check the oil level for any vehicles, tractors are a bit unique in that the circumstances in which we use our tractors can vary from day to day. For instance, one day you might be dealing with a relatively easy, flat portion of land, but on another day, you might be working steep terrain, and this can cause your tractor to run hotter and burn more oil. Additionally, one day you might only use the tractor for an hour or two, while you might need it for eight or more hours on another day.

Checking the oil level and adding more oil when needed will keep everything nice and lubricated and running more smoothly. Don’t forget about changing the oil regularly. Typically, this needs to be handled after about 100 hours of use, but we recommend that you simply follow the oil change guidelines in your Mahindra tractor manual. As a side note, be sure to change the oil filter whenever you change the oil.

2. Inspect The Air Filter

Unlike cars and trucks, oil changes and filter changes don’t need to happen as frequently as with your Mahindra tractor (or any tractor make or model). But tractors work hard and require more constant upkeep to ensure top performance. When it comes to the air filter, take a quick look at your filter each day.

In some cases, it might take several weeks for the filter to become clogged, but sometimes it might only take a few days if conditions are especially dirty. We recommend keeping a few air filters on hand so that you can change them out quickly whenever it is needed. We sell filter economy packs for Mahindra tractors, and these include inner and outer air filters, a hydraulic filter, a Mahindra fuel filter and a Mahindra oil filter for your convenience.

3. Keep An Eye On The Coolant

Without enough coolant, your tractor’s engine could overheat quickly, so keep an eye on the coolant levels and check the color of the coolant as well. If you notice a milky color or a gray color, this is a sign that that the head gasket needs to be replaced.

When the head gasket isn’t functioning properly, this allows coolant to leak into the combustion chambers of your tractor. It mixes with oil, and this is what causes the strange color, but, more importantly, this coolant leak decreases the effectiveness of your tractor oil and because coolant is leaking, your engine can overheat. If you need a new head gasket, we sell affordable Mahindra head gaskets in our Mahindra parts catalog.

4. Kick Those Wheels

Ok, these days, kicking the tires isn’t necessary, as today’s tire models are made from much sturdier materials than back in the olden days, but you should inspect your tires often for signs of wear. In addition to examining the tread, inspect the tires for items such as nails or even cracking and dry rot.

Keeping the tire pressure at a proper level can help prolong the life of your tires, but you do need to adjust the inflation level, according to the type of work you need to complete. For instance, different attachments add a different amount of weight, and tire pressure will vary based upon this load.

5. Monitor The Belts

If a belt cracks and brakes, that’s a serious (and often expensive) problem. From time to time, examine the belts and look for signs of damage, rotting or cracking. While you are looking about the engine, also take a look around at the seals, and if you see any leaks, it’s time to replace a seal.

You can find a wide selection of seals as well as belts in our Mahindra parts catalog. Whether you need a fan belt, an alternator belt, an oil seal or something else, we can provide you with the parts you need and provide fast shipping, so your Mahindra tractor is in good working order at all times.

A well-tended Mahindra tractor should last well beyond its warranty expiration date and taking time for these simple monitoring tasks can go a long way toward extending the life of your tractor. Of course, we also recommend storing your tractor out of the elements, as this also can prevent body damage.
